• New experiment: I set a song to over 50 drawings and put it on YouTube.

Hyperworld is a track from my band, Through the Astral Veil. The imagery is scenes from my novel series, The Coherence Rupture. Two projects, same underlying ideas, never previously connected in one place.

The honest framing: I don't know if this works. Cross-promotion between two small audiences mostly moves people who already know you. Maybe a few readers hear the music. Maybe a few listeners pick up a book. Maybe neither.

I made it anyway, because the thing that was interesting to me was the problem itself — how do you make those over 50 static images hold attention for six minutes without turning into a slideshow? The answer turned out to be an aesthetic decision rather than an editing one. Everything is rendered as pencil on aged paper, so the pictures don't compete to be impressive. They accumulate into something that feels recovered rather than manufactured.

Images were AI-generated and directed. The constraints did most of the work.

If it finds an audience, good. If not, I made a thing and it exists.
